Overview

Core GEOINT / All-Purpose Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Clearance: TS/SCI required

Location: Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO

Experience: 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of Core GEOINT tradecraft, methodology, and technology. 

 

HDNGO Branch – Provides education and training, focusing o the concepts of analytic tradecraft, techniques, and methodology applied to cross-discipline, GEOINT issues. Focus areas include: foundational GEOINT learning, intelligence communications, critical and geospatial thinking, deployed analysis, and cyber GEOINT.

Duties

 

The Lead-level Core GEOINT SME is considered an authority in their field and a key resource as a mentor for other SMEs. They shall have a sophisticated understanding of planning, execution, oversight, and day-to-day management of contractor business activities in the HDNGO Branch and be able to apply broad or in-depth expertise in highly complex and ambiguous situations. They act as the primary POC for CORE GEOINT Course Managers (CMs) and the Branch Chief (BC) and are responsible for maintaining awareness over other CORE GEOINT SMEs certification and qualification plans to ensure compliance, while maintaining their own NGC Instructor compliances (certification/qualification) and instructing courses as assigned.

 

The Lead-Level SME can provide support to multiple GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses (Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced) within the Core GEOINT content area.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

 

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of Core GEOINT tradecraft, methodology, and technology.
  • Minimum 2 years delivering learning content to adult learners in a classroom setting.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing day-to-day activities of a team.
  • TS/SCI Clearance

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Foundational GEOINT, Intelligence Comms, Critical Thinking, Deployed Analysis, or Cyber GEOINT).
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification.
