Imagery Analysis and Sensors / All-Purpose Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Clearance: TS/SCI required
Location: Springfield, VA
Experience: 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of Imagery Analysis and Sensors tradecraft, methodology, and technology.
HDNGI Branch – Provides education and training with a focus on the concepts and application of imagery analytic tradecraft, methodology, and technology. Focus areas include: imagery analysis, imagery exploitation systems (RemoteView and Orchestration Services), and GEOINT data sources (e.g. FMV, Spectral, OPIR, SAR, and TIR).
Duties
The Lead-level Imagery Analysis and Sensors SME is considered an authority in their field and a key resource as a mentor for other SMEs. They shall have a sophisticated understanding of planning, execution, oversight, and day-to-day management of contractor business activities in the HDNGI Branch and be able to apply broad or in-depth expertise in highly complex and ambiguous situations. They act as the primary POC for Imagery Analysis and Sensors Course Managers (CMs) and the Branch Chief (BC), and are responsible for maintaining awareness over other Imagery Analysis and Sensors SMEs certification and qualification plans to ensure compliance, while maintaining their own NGC Instructor compliances (certification/qualification) and instructing courses as assigned.
A Lead-Level Imagery Analysis and Sensors SME is capable of providing support to multiple GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses (Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced) within the Imagery Analysis and Sensors content area.
