Location: Arlington - Primarily Telework (must be able to work onsite at lest one day a week)

Job Overview: As a seasoned Systems Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining the information technology systems for the customer. Your role involves creating the basic computing infrastructure, establishing networking rules for cybersecurity, and troubleshooting technical issues. With your expertise, you’ll contribute to the seamless operation of critical services.

Duties:

• System Design and Implementation:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deploy robust computing systems.
  • Establish networking protocols and security measures.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of systems.
    
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Provide tier-3 support for complex system problems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges.
    
    
• Quality Control and Efficiency:
  • Develop control features to meet quality standards.
  • Engage in quality control procedures to optimize system efficiency.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses for system projects.
    
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Brainstorm and propose enhancements for future system iterations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the organization operates at maximum efficiency.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Proficiency in system design, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
