Job Overview: As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of the customer’s computer systems, servers, and software. Your responsibilities include ensuring proper configuration documentation, managing changes, and supporting ongoing operations.

Duties:

• Configuration Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records related to system configurations.
  • Register and authorize all changes to configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
    
• Change Management: 
  • Handle change order processing for systems, hardware, software, and related equipment.
  • Collaborate with development and maintenance teams to implement changes.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing configuration management processes.
    
    
• Operational Support: 
  • Fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests.
  • Perform operational activities as defined by Configuration Management policies.
  • Assist in the setup of computer software.
    
    
• Training and Communication:
  • Organize and conduct training sessions on software usage.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding configuration changes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in configuration management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and configuration management concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
